Cubana Week
26.01.2025 - 31.01.2025
Would you like to learn the lively original Cuban Salsa or expand your existing knowledge? Would you like to practise and perfect internationally established figures and precise dance technique in pairs and in a group? Do you want to laugh heartily and really feel your incredible joie de vivre again?
Welcome to the right workshop!
The original Cuban Salsa is known as ‘Rueda de Casino’ or ‘Casino’ for short. This dance style offers the possibility to dance the figures in pairs as well as in a group in a circle ‘Rueda’ (= the wheel). Dancing in a circle offers the advantage of multiple changes of figures and lead, which can be practised and therefore learnt more quickly. This indescribably fun and wonderful way of dancing is a unique experience and incredible fun.
Important information:
Shoes & clothing: Dance shoes with leather or normal leather, sneakers, comfortable soft shoes are an advantage / bring enough change of clothes – we will make you sweat 😉
Dance partner: My dance partner and a taxi dancer are also available. A balanced ratio cannot be guaranteed Due to the circle and changing partners, a surplus is easy to handle
Coach:
Georg Franz Kalandra
As an enthusiastic dance coach, I have been involved with salsa for over 20 years and am passionate about teaching this dance.I have learnt the original Salsa and all the associated Afro basic dances in numerous courses in Cuba from and with the local dance teachers and have graduated with a diploma.
I organise my lessons with a lot of life energy and adapt the content to the needs of my dance group. The dance experience and personal success are guaranteed for beginners and advanced dancers.
Enthuse yourself and your friends for this special experience and join in!
Viva la salsa, viva la vida!
