Arrival
You are welcome to arrive from 10.00 am. Leave your luggage at reception and relax in the wellness area. Your room will be ready by 3.00 pm at the latest.
Departure
We ask you to vacate your room by 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure and invite you to end the day at the hotel. Our SPA area is open for you until 9.00 pm. Unlike other hotels, there is no extra charge for this at the AVIVA.
You can pay with Mastercard, Visa, American Express, ATM, voucher or cash. If you wish, you can also transfer the overnight stay before you arrive. On departure you will then only have to pay for the consumptions.

Brau-Boutique
We brew 750 liters of light and dark beer every week, as well as wheat beer and our own bock beer at Christmas time. You are welcome to watch our brewer Manfred brewing beer live, enjoy a delicious snack and the first side of beer from the new tap.
Brewery tours also take place several times a week. (For current dates, see the AVIVA app)
In addition, around 50 individual beers from the Mühlviertel and the rest of the world await you. Take a look at the beer menu. But that’s not all. There is also a non-alcoholic Hopfenkracherl from the hotel’s own brewery.
You are welcome to take the different types of beer and the Hopfenkracherl home with you or order them in the online shop at Brau Boutique .

The AVIVA Fitness Center, equipped with Technogym equipment, is available to you daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The AVIVA fitness trainers are available for training by appointment.

Holy Mass
Holy masses in the Roman Catholic church take place every Saturday at 7.30 p.m. and every Sunday at 9 a.m. in the parish church of St. Stefan -Afiesl. (2 km from the Hotel AVIVA)

Hiking trails
There are numerous hiking trails and circular routes available directly from the hotel, which are continuously maintained by the local tourist association. There are more than 500 km of marked hiking trails of all levels of difficulty in the region.

At the AVIVA hotel car park, there are 6 electric charging stations (4 of which are covered) with a Type 2 plug with 22 kW/h. Payment is made using standard charging cards, gas station cards or credit cards. Don’t worry, if none of the charging cards work, you can pay via the hotel bill.

Green AVIVA
Protecting our beautiful environment is very important to us. That’s why we have taken many measures, which you can read about on the AVIVA website under greenAVIVA. If you want to make a small contribution yourself, you can skip room cleaning and towel changing for one day if you stay for 2 nights or more. To do so, simply hang the greenAVIVA sign on the outside of your room door. In return, we will credit you €5 off your hotel bill.
Pets
You are welcome to bring your four-legged friend with you if you register in advance. Your fee per animal per night, excluding food, is €15.00. If final cleaning is necessary, we may invoice you for this separately. We recommend that you bring a blanket and basket for your dog or cat. Please be understanding for guests who are allergic to animal hair or are afraid of dogs. For these reasons, pets are not allowed in our wellness area including the gardens, in the restaurant, and at evening events. “Large” dogs such as Dobermans, St. Bernards, mountain dogs, etc. unfortunately have to stay at home.

Cross-country trails
Here are 35 kilometres of cross-country ski trails (classic and skating) directly from the hotel, which also lead into the Sumava National Park in the Czech Republic. Above the car park there is a small night trail with floodlights. Equipment (classic cross-country skis, boots and poles) can be hired.

For urgent emergencies, you can reach our night manager Werner on extension 992 from Wednesday to Sunday from 8.30 p.m. If you cannot reach anyone on this extension, please dial +43 (0) 664 9639 314. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, a member of staff is available in the AVIVA Dance Club and on Tuesdays and Thursdays on the AVIVA Alm until late at night, or the cleaning team can be found in the wellness area from 5 a.m. onwards.
Waste disposal
Together for our environment … so please do not dispose of any waste in our toilets. You will find rubbish bins for correct waste separation and disposal in our wellness area and in our room corridors.
