Of course, mountain bikers, hikers, cross-country skiers, strollers, and day-trippers are always warmly welcome at the AVIVA Alm. If the Alm is closed, you’re also welcome in the AVIVA hotel lobby and on the terrace.

Celebrate, dance, listen to great music, savor the legendary Alm Burger, marvel at the breathtaking views of the Alps, catch up with friends and hear the latest neighborhood news, and refuel with delicious alpine fare after a mountain bike tour, hike, or cross-country ski trip (trails, hiking paths, and cross-country ski trails start right at the Alm). Whether it’s the wildly popular Alm Burger, a traditional “Brettl Jausn,” or four-star superior cuisine—there’s something for everyone.

International hotel guests meet genuine locals from the Mühlviertel… and together they share a good laugh. That’s the AVIVA Alm. With the “Steirische” playing in the background, there’s laughter, singing, and dancing. A place for gathering, living customs, and time-honored traditions. But innovation has its place, too. The ALM DJ spins tunes, the mood builds, and the “Alm feeling” turns into a full-on alpine experience…

In summer, in front of the Alm with a campfire; in winter, with punch and roasted chestnuts; and the rest of the time, with plenty of great Schlager and Alm music. On Thursday, break out your dirndl or lederhosen. Because it’s “Lederhosen meets Dirndl” at the AVIVA Alm Party. The best Schlager and après-ski hits await you, expertly mixed by the DJ. Of course, you can also party at the AVIVA Dance Club right next door in the hotel.

We are open on TUESDAY from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., THURSDAY from 8:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and FRIDAY & SATURDAY from 8:30 p.m. to midnight.

Can you book the AVIVA Alm for a party?

Yes, we’d love to! You can book our AVIVA Alm exclusively for parties, birthdays, weddings, or Christmas parties. Just contact us at seminar@hotel-aviva.at—we’ll work with you to plan an unforgettable event.

Can I bring my dog to the alpine hut?

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at our evening events at the AVIVA Alm. However, they are more than welcome to join us for outdoor activities around the AVIVA 🐾

What is the AVIVA Brewing Boutique?

The AVIVA Brau-Boutique is our hotel’s in-house brewery, where our master brewer brews the AVIVA light, dark, and white beers himself. We regularly offer brewery tours with beer tastings for our hotel guests, during which you’ll gain fascinating insights into the art of beer brewing.
Beer tastings and tours for outside groups are also available upon request, subject to availability.

Are non-members allowed into the AVIVA Alm?

Yes, of course. As long as the venue hasn’t been booked exclusively by a group, outside guests are more than welcome. Thursdays are especially popular for our traditional “Lederhosen Meets Dirndl” party.
