The Mühlviertel landscape is an almost perfect mix for cross-country skiing:
The hilly character challenges you with crisp climbs and rewards you with the wind afterwards. Learn how to ‘glide along’ with trained instructors. There are several signposted cross-country ski trails starting from the Hotel Aviva. Thanks to the altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy a unique panorama of the Alps. Thanks to the location in the Bohemian Forest and the nearby Lipno reservoir in the Czech Republic, the cross-country ski trails around the AVIVA are snow-sure and ideal for beginners and professional skiers alike. The trails are freshly groomed immediately after every heavy snowfall. Glistening tracks run through the landscape and offer the best conditions for exploring the surroundings, boosting your fitness and enjoying the Mühlviertel and the Bohemian Forest to the full.

Here you will learn the basic techniques of skating and classic skiing in a varied and effective way with qualified cross-country ski instructors.

Trainers:
Maximilian Karlsböck & Simone Haberpointner
