Would you like to learn the lively, authentic Cuban salsa from scratch or build on your existing skills? Do you want to practice international moves in pairs and in a group, improve your technique, and have a good laugh while doing so—feeling the joy of life and meeting new people?
Then our salsa class for singles at AVIVA is the perfect place for you! Authentic Cuban salsa—also known as Rueda de Casino or simply “Casino”—is a very special dance style. Here, you don’t just dance as a couple, but also together in a circle (“Rueda” = wheel).
Thanks to the changing figures and partners, you’ll learn the steps faster, stay constantly in motion, and experience an incredibly dynamic, fun way to dance. That’s exactly what makes this style so unique—and guarantees plenty of fun.
Technique, Fun & Community
Our salsa dance class at AVIVA combines technique, ease, and social interaction. You’ll improve your dance technique, develop a feel for rhythm and movement—and at the same time experience the pure joy of Cuban salsa. Every session is energetic, varied, and simply puts you in a good mood.
Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced dancer: This salsa class for singles is guaranteed to be memorable.
Important Information
Shoes & Clothing:
Leather dance shoes, sneakers, or soft, comfortable shoes are ideal. Be sure to bring plenty of a change of clothes—we’re guaranteed to make you sweat 😉
Dance partners:
My dance partner and a guest dancer will be available. We can’t guarantee a balanced ratio—but thanks to the circle and partner switches, that won’t be a problem.

As a passionate dance coach, I’ve been involved with salsa for over 20 years. In Cuba, I learned authentic salsa and the accompanying Afro-based dances directly from local dance instructors and earned a diploma.
My classes are full of energy and tailored to the group—so both beginners and advanced dancers can enjoy a motivating, successful dance experience.
