Running—the most natural form of human movement

Running is the most natural form of movement. In fact, you’ve always been able to do it—step by step. But have you ever thought about your running form?

Maybe you haven’t run in a while because your knee hurts, your back is giving you trouble, or running just doesn’t feel easy anymore. Instead of ease, do you feel strain? Then now is the right time to make a change.

Because here’s what many people underestimate: When it comes to running, technique is crucial—often even more important than in swimming or cross-country skiing. Hardly any runner runs truly efficiently. Poor running technique makes your stride cumbersome, wastes energy unnecessarily, and puts a strain on your body over time—regardless of whether you’re a beginner or an ambitious runner.

The better your technique, the easier, more efficient, and healthier your running style will be. Or as running coach Maximilian Karlsböck says: The worse the technique, the greater the potential for improvement.

Who is the running camp for?

The running camp at AVIVA is designed for:

  • Beginners who want to start running—to improve their health, fitness, or lose weight
  • Intermediate runners who want to improve their running form
  • Ambitious runners who are specifically preparing for longer distances or a marathon

Training Program

In addition to group running and strength training sessions, you’ll receive plenty of practical tips on running training, technique, and training plans. The sessions are individually tailored to your fitness level.

The running sessions take place as a group—thanks to a proven group format, you’ll always stay together. This fosters motivation, energy, and a training experience that’s fun.

You’ll be guided by running coach Maximilian Karlsböck, who will support you with his experience, expertise, and personalized guidance. For more information, visit www.maxfitness.at.
